Topps Unveils NCAA March Madness Basketball Card Series

Topps has teamed up with the NCAA to launch an exciting new March Madness basketball card series that is sure to get collectors buzzing. The series offers packs priced at $139.99 each, a price many are willing to pay for the allure of a guaranteed autograph card from a standout player. Among the featured athletes are Zach Edey from Purdue, the men’s Player of the Year, and Caitlin Clark, the women’s Player of the Year.

Each pack in this series is a treasure trove for collectors, containing the coveted autographed card as well as six base cards and one parallel card that is numbered to 99 or fewer. The thrill of the chase is real, with dual autograph cards popping up in one out of every ten packs, making each opening an exhilarating experience.

The collection showcases a select group of 20 athletes who have all agreed to be part of this exciting project. The lineup for the Bowman U NOW March Madness series includes prominent names in college basketball such as Reed Sheppard and Rob Dillingham from Kentucky, Tristen Newton and Stephon Castle from UConn, Cody Williams from Colorado, and more representing the men’s side.

On the women’s side, stars like Cameron Brink from Stanford, Aaliyah Edwards from UConn, Angel Reese and Mikaylah Williams from LSU, and others add to the diversity of talent featured in the series. Notable dual autographs like Clark/Edey and Clark/Reese offer collectors a rare and unique addition to their collections.

The opportunity to feature Caitlin Clark in the card series will be limited, ending on April 1, as she is set to have an exclusive trading card agreement with Panini America. This collaboration with the NCAA allows Topps to integrate the iconic March Madness branding into their products, setting the stage for potential future collaborations and joint projects that fans and collectors can look forward to.

Throughout the season, Topps has released over 120 Bowman U cards through their Topps NOW platform, with a focus on college basketball talents.
